My Services

Services for Kids and Families

I specialize in working with children with anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, autism, and children navigating divorce, grief, and other major life changes. All of my work with children involves working closely with their families. I always stay current with the most effective modalities and pride myself in being able to draw on my many years of experience to apply the most useful model to each individual child and family. My work draws from training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, SPACE, Family Systems, and comes from a Strengths Perspective. In my work with children I actively communicate and partner with other adults in their life, such as teachers and doctors whenever necessary.

Services for Adults

I provide individual and family therapy in Carroll Gardens and Brooklyn Heights and see adults through telehealth as well. My practice is a warm, supportive environment in which to explore recent and past experiences that contribute to current patterns. Whether you are experiencing internal struggles in the form of depression and anxiety, having trouble navigating a relationship, in the middle of a major life transition or having concerns around parenting, we can work together to bring some change and relief. I am a direct but warm therapist with a lifelong passion for helping people.

I recently completed training in SPACE, a research supported modality that aims to treat anxiety disorders in children while only working on what parents can change on their own end. If you have a child who is resistant to attending therapy themselves or just would like to learn invaluable skills yourself, please reach out to learn more about this exciting new treatment option.

School Consulting

I have 15 years of experience working with children and educators in schools throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. I’m available to consult with you and your staff to create behavior plans for children, brainstorm helping an anxious child, or anything else you might need an outside perspective on.
